The California State Parks Foundation is seeking volunteers for a workday at Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park.
The Saturday, October 21st, workday will focus on dead tree removal and cleanup in the campground at the park as well as other needed maintenance. The work will be followed by lunch and a park tour for all volunteers.
This project is appropriate for ages 10 and up. All minors must be accompanied by legal guardians. Free camping is available on Friday to Sunday for registered volunteers.
